The Team

Formed by Neil Gledhill in 2006, Hemisphere Rigging Services is the culmination of his 10 years within the marine industry. Having undertaken the position of Base Manager with Sunsail at the tender age of 24 Neil ran bases both overseas and here in the UK.

His career progression was undoubtedly accelerated by his time at the Challenge Business, working on the 2004 Global Challenge round the world yacht race alongside the infamous Andrew Roberts and Pete Lucas. 

The final step before taking the plunge and 'going it alone' was the alteration of a 72' Challenge yacht to enable Dee Caffari to become the first woman to successfully circumnavigate the globe westabout, single handed. 

The Hemisphere team is complimented by the addition of Dave Southcott and former Challenge Business employee, Ellie Littlejohn.
